The hotel is extremely suitable for large groups. You can choose between various large rooms with space for up to 160 people. The rooms are spread across the Voorburcht (ten rooms) and the Hoofdburcht (eight rooms). All rooms are provided with air-conditioning and modern communication and presentation equipment. A wide range of culinary delights is also available to complete your event. A fantastic party in one of the Hoofdburcht rooms will really have the castle cellars shaking in their foundations. Unique and luxury country estate

When you go over the moat and through the castle entrance to the inner courtyard of Landgoed Kasteel Daelenbroeck – Hampshire Classic, you step back in time by a few centuries. You’ll maybe not see a knight on a horse, but the courtyard is, just as it used to be, the beating heart of the castle. This is where the terrace is laid out and where all buildings lead to: the Hoofdburcht, Voorburcht and the Kasteelhoeve.

Landgoed Kasteel Daelenbroeck – Hampshire Classic is located on the edge of Herkenbosch village on a unique fourteenth century country estate. It is just a few kilometres from Roermond, close to the beautiful Nationaal Park De Meinweg. You can just cycle or walk straight into the countryside from the country estate. The hotel has many beautiful, large rooms and is therefore very suitable for meetings, parties, weddings and other events.

Versatile surroundings in Central Limburg

From here in Central Limburg, close to the city of Roermond, you can go in every direction. There are many great cities and places of interest in the area, or you can cross the border into Germany and Belgium for events or a day’s shopping. A few tips:

Art and culture
The white town of Thorn is unique in the Netherlands. The partly noble history of this much-visited town goes back to the tenth century. You can discover why everything in Thorn is white in the Gemeentemuseum Het Land van Thorn. Walled city Stevensweert is on an island between two branches of the Maas. In the Streekmuseum Stevensweert/Ohé en Laak you can relive the history of this beautiful city, founded by the Spanish in 1633. Just over the Belgian border, there’s the tourist town of Maaseik, where there’s lots happening, as they say themselves. For example, you can visit Musea Maaseik on Lekkerstraat with the Regionaal Archeologisch Museum, the Apotheekmuseum, the Ontdekkingskamer and Kerkschatten van Sint-Catharina, all under one roof.

Children
In Huifkarhoeve in Vlodrop there’s Gitstap playground with rides for older and younger children. They can play indoors and outdoors throughout the year at children’s play village Pee Wee in Posterholt. For very young children there is a petting farm. De IJzeren Man swimming pool in Weert also has a wave machine.

Shopping
Düsseldorf, just over the German border, is the perfect shopping city. Christmas markets give the city a unique atmosphere during the festive season. There’s also great shopping at Designer Outlet Roermond, the largest outlet in the Benelux.

Golf
At Burggolf Herkenbosch you feel as though you’re abroad. The fantastic 18-hole golf course with its un-Dutch undulating landscape is in the middle of the forest next to the Nationaal Park De Meinweg.

The Head Chef’s secret lies in his respect for nature and for the seasons. Everything that the season has to offer, you’ll find on your plate. You can enjoy dinner à la carte or be surprised by the special daily menu composed by the Head Chef.
Naturally there is an extensive wine menu and you can choose from various wine packages. And, of course, a castle isn’t a castle without a fireplace, so that’s kept crackling away for you.

As well as the speciality restaurant in the Pallandtzaal, there are other places in the hotel in which you can enjoy a culinary feast in a stylish setting, including the decked terrace at the rear of the castle, where lunch or dinner can be served outdoors.
