In the Kop van Overijssel, the area between Steenwijk, Emmeloord, Giethoorn and Kampen, there’s a manor dating from 1583, surrounded by an impressive country estate. It’s a monumental building that has been the home of Landgoed Oldruitenborgh - Hampshire Classic since 2008. The hotel has twenty luxury guest rooms, spread across three historic buildings on the country estate, and is situated close to the Zuyder Zee town of Vollenhove.

The many beautiful, large spaces and meeting areas and the handsome, royal décor make Landgoed Oldruitenborgh - Hampshire Classic the perfect wedding location or conference centre. Enjoy beautiful walks in the Oldruitenborgh nature reserve. Or for even more space you can visit National Park Weerribben, a few kilometres away. The centre of the medieval market town of Vollenhove is so close by that you should definitely add a visit to your programme. Vollenhove has a beautiful harbour and various historic buildings. Museums
The surrounding Hanseatic towns have interesting museums, including the Stedelijk Museum Kampen in the former town hall. This museum is composed around four main subject areas: water, religion, justice and the House of Orange. Also interesting is Museum Schokland on the island of Schokland, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Zuyder Zee.

Beautiful location and sublime dishes

The view from the Restaurant & Brasserie & Tearoom de Oranjerie is fantastic. You can visit the Oranjerie the whole day, for breakfast, lunch, high-tea or dinner. Everything here is prepared with care and attention. Coffee is made with fresh beans from our own coffee-roasting house, and there are beautiful dishes on the menu. On the main menu you’ll find such dishes as succade of Livar pork with gravy, Drenthe ‘hoogveen’ steak with ‘nagelhout’ gravy, grilled tuna with a foam horseradish sauce, and for dessert curds with red fruit and white sponge-cake or omelet Siberienne.
