Restaurant Hof ter Binnen
The hotel has a stylish restaurant with fantastic views across the waters and Kasteelse Bossen. An ideal place for relaxing and tasting all the delicacies the kitchen has to offer. 5 of 5 stars

I stayed here again for three nights at the beginning of March. Still as good as my previous stay. I had emailed in advance requesting a quiet room on a high floor, and that is exactly what I was given. The reception staff are very pleasant and efficient, and the hotel is so well managed that after the room has been serviced each morning, someone came and checked that I was happy with everything. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel is very convenient for the motorway, although you feel as though you are in the heart of the countryside. Well Done

“Friendly staff, awful room”

First time in Venlo on a business trip and my company booked the Parkhotel. First room was next to the elevator ... So went down and asked if I could change. The lady at the reception confirmed that they had plenty of rooms and gave me a new one .... What I wasn't aware that I got the smallest and oldest. Cables out of the wall and the working desk had no room for a chair, but was so close to my bed, that I had to sit on my bad but work on my desk. My back was hurting after 5 mins ... Although the restaurant and bar staff is extremely friendly, the room was below any standard you would expect ....

“Christmas dinner at parkhotel”

Having Booked at the park hotel for christmas dinner. on arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to the bar area for pre dinner drinks. subsequently we were shown to our table in a nicely laid out dining room. The staff made the effort to describe how everything worked with the dinner being a buffet and dutch not being our native language. translations aside this was very much appreciated we took our drink to our table and went through to the buffet area. Unfortunately for us not being fish eaters there was very little in the buffet starters or main courses that we could enjoy no fault of the hotel The food seemed to be very well received by the dutch clientel and what we saw looked very nice. we explained at that point to the manager that we were having some difficulty in finding food we would eat and decided that we would just go elsewhere to eat. The duty manager handled this with great aplomb and was very diplomatic and pleasant with what must have looked like two very awkward guests. top marks for the way we were dealt with and to be fair probably top marks for the food if you liked those kinds of dishes. One suggestion to improve on our experience is for the hotel to communicate out the menu in advance so at least people can decide prior to arrival if the food is to their liking or taste.

“A perfect hotel”

I stayed for two nights. Faultless. The hotel is near the motorway, but sound is not a problem, the atmosphere is really tranquil. A very well managed hotel. The only very small negative is that among all the newspapers supplied in the lobby and breakfast room, there is no Herald Tribune, which is a surprise for a four star hotel, but his by no means distracts from the overall exellence of the place.

“Great food and excellent restaurant staff, nice surroundings”

overall nice experience. We were a bit puzzled with their positioning and target clientele - it's kind of Vandervalk version but more modest decor yet higher price tag. They started to charge extra fee for the use of sauna, but wellness isn't maintained properly anymore, getting shabby
