Amidst white dunes, wide sandy beaches and dense woods is the idyllic little town of Domburg, the most popular resort in the Dutch province of Zeeland. Roman history and the aristocratic nostalgia have left their traces here. The town, which was founded in 1233, has been home to man and nature for centuries. At the Badhotel you will experience the grandeur of the past in surroundings which offer hospitality and comfort at a high level.



Badhotel Domburg - Hampshire Classic is situated in park 'Loverendaele'. The beautiful beaches and the idillic town of Domburg are litterally at the corner of the hotel. It is the ideal place to relax or to go on a short vacation.

All 116 rooms have been specially designed to provide ample space for your children to stay in your room. You will receive a warm welcome in the restaurant ‘Carmen Sylva’ for a large breakfast buffet or carefully planned dinner menus. In addition, you may use the wellness facilities.

The ground floor has 5 modern conference rooms. All rooms have daylight and are decorated in sunny colours and with natural materials. The rooms can be combined for larger groups and provided with any equipment you may require. On the other floors, the hotel also has 5 suites which are smaller and can be used for around 10 people.

'Iguana Reptile Zoo', Vlissingen
Three large buildings around a subtropic glasshouse are home to a collection of about 500 reptiles, amphibians and insects from all over the world. The animals range in size from a scorpion measuring only 3 cm to a python which is over 5 metres long. You will certainly enjoy a visit to the Iguana.

'Miniatuur Walcheren', Middelburg
This miniature town offers visitors, both young and old, a novel view of Walcheren today. The model is built on a scale of 1:20, and you can even find a scale model of our Badhotel.

'Goes-Borsele Steam Train'
The historic steam train Goes-Borsele guarantees a spectacular day out. You can get out at various places on the way to visit interesting, small-scale attractions.
Bicycles are carried free of charge.

'Zijdemuseum Meliskerke'
The silk museum reveals the wonderful world of silk. It shows you the whole process which begins with the silkworm and ends with the woven, hand-painted silk end product.

'Historic Veere'
Veere is a small harbour town on the 'Veerse Meer' (Lake Veere). This lovely little town was one of the first to be given town privileges and is certainly worth a visit. Often, the shops are also open on special days or Public Holidays. The reception can provide you with a cycle route to Veere as well as the bicycles.

'Imkerij Poppendamme'
Discover the life of the honey bee at the beekeeping visitors’ centre. Here, you can see the bees feeding the larvae and looking after the queen bee.

'Indoor Karting Middelburg'

Middelburg Town Hall
Middelburg has one of the most beautiful town halls in the Netherlands. On Saturdays and Sundays between November and March, guided tours are provided through the late-Gothic part. Wandering through the halls and rooms, it is difficult to imagine that this town hall was almost destroyed on 17 May 1940.

'Zeeuws Maritiem MuZEEum' (Maritime Museum of Zeeland)
This beautiful muSEAum brings to life the greatest maritime history of Zeeland. In the beautifully restored Lampsinshuis dating from 1641 the greatest maritime history of Zeeland is presented in an interesting, active way, divided into four themes: Water,

Work, Glory and Adventure.
The muSEAum is particularly exciting for children, who can take part in various educational games, such as “You are a ship’s cook. What do you buy? ”Brasserie 'De Gecroonde Liefde' provides a welcoming atmosphere for a cup of coffee and gateaux or lunch.

Zeeland, Land of Wine
Zeeland also has a real vineyard: 'De Druivengaarde'. Read about the various types of grape on the information signs as you wander through the vineyard. The red and white wines are also available for tasting or you can take a guided tour.
