Introduction

Idyllic situated in the small village Oudkerk you'll find this original 'Friese State' built in 1655 and re-established in its original style in 1986. Nowadays Landgoed De Klinze - Hampshire Classic, is a brilliant ensemble of history, culture and modern luxury, based on the inner wellness.

This estate, surrounded by 8 hectares of park, offers 27 luxury hotelrooms, a gourmet restaurant with antique chandeliers, a bistro with fireplace and terrace, a beauty center 'Institut de Beauté Guerlain' with swimming pool, sauna, Turkish steambath, whirlpool and four salons for beauty threatments. The hotel is also the owner of a stable where you'll find Frisian horses and some antique coaches, which are available for the hotel-guests.

Oudkerk is situated near Leeuwarden, Dokkum, Sneek and Drachten, which all have their own sights and are absolutely a visit worthwhile.

Estate De Klinze – Hampshire Classic is a very suitable location for conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops, or other corporate business. The beautiful and quiet surroundings are a perfect setting for you business meeting. Cities as Leeuwarden, Dokkum, Heerenveen and Drachten are only a few km away, but also Amsterdam can be reached in only 90 minutes. The hotel has its own car park so you don't have to worry about parking your car in a save place.

The hotel offers three meeting rooms in a classic style with large windows and chandeliers (35m2 untill 100m2). All rooms can be set in a way most suitable for the occasion and the amout of guests. We can also provide all audiovisual needed.

Incentives

A relaxing afternoon program can be organised with activities like 'tilt at the ring', crossbow shooting or playing golf at the golfcourse nearby. A ride in our antique carriage 'Jan Plezier' also belongs to the possibilities.

The park and the woody surroundings offer many possibilities for a nice walk or cycling (bicycles are available at the hotel). And in our beauty center 'Institut de Beauté Guerlain' you can enjoy a swim in our pool or a relaxing massage.
